THE BEAUTIFUL DARIA | {newborn} session

I had a little visitor last week...

Meet Daria. Unique name huh? Little Daria got her name from a Cake song of the same title. Her parents are big Cake fans and when they heard the song, they decided they would name their daughter Daria. Not only is it a beautiful name, that's a pretty cool story to tell little Daria when she grows up.

Daria was fabulous throughout the whole session in the studio. We managed to capture many images. Take a look.

Many new parents that come into the studio are concerned about the flaky skin on a newborn. I love it. To me, it signifies the "newness."

BABY REBECCA | {newborn} session

Friday was an exciting and monumental day in many ways. The big news around the world of course, was The Royal Wedding - an ordinary girl marrying her Prince. I started my day by watching highlights from the highly televised wedding and finished my day in the studio with a princess close to my heart.

Baby Rebecca's arrival makes me feel like an Aunt for the fourth time. Niece number two! Her proud parents, Dave and Krista, are close friends of ours. We have watched them anxiously await the arrival of their little girl and we couldn't have been happier to share the experience.

Rebecca is absolutely perfect. It makes me smile to think of watching her grow up.
