JANINE + ANDREW | {e-session} | september 2012
Monday, September 24, 2012
We met just before sunset at the Train Park in Lewisporte. It was early September. As we walked down the dark, wooded nature trail, I was in awe. Not only was it an amazing location for a portrait session, the timing (a.k.a, the light) was perfect. The sun was just strong enough to peak through the trees and light up small areas of the trail like a spot light. Perfect!
Janine and Andrew are such a fun couple. As we moved from one location to another, we chatted about what they've been up this past year - living in the UK! - and wedding plans. Oh, the wedding plans! I love hearing couple talks about their dream wedding!
Janine had so many creative ways to show off that gorgeous diamond! I love it when couples bring their own style and inspiration to a session. Makes the images a little more...personalized. I thoroughly enjoyed this e-session!

You cannot keep capturing all this good light Emma one day you are going to have to give it all back.
Seriously really nice shots - were they all natural light. You cant beat this sort of light it is as though you have your own personal hair light or rim light.
Was the first one with your new long lens.
Great job - As usual you caught the spirit of the couple.
Greym.
Ah, but the light is there to be used. You just need to know when to use it :D
Most of the images in the nature trail and majority of the wharf images were taken with the 70-200mm f2.8 - my new favourite - using natural light. It was a little challenging as there wasn't much light to work with.
The marina images were taken with the 24-105mm - my go-to lens - and fill flash.
Janine and Andrew are a great couple. So fun and relaxed. We had a great chat about the UK. One of my favourite e-session to date.
