ENGAGEMENT : Brittany + Mitchell

Thursday, June 4, 2015

Brittany and Mitch have been a couple for four years. About a year ago, Mitch asked Brittany to be his forever. She said YES!

Together, they are planning a beautiful summer wedding in New-Wes-Valley next year. I simply can not wait to document their perfect day. If their wedding day is anything like their engagement session, good things are in store!

ENGAGEMENT // STACY + STEVEN

Friday, February 20, 2015

Those who know me know I'm not much of a winter person. I prefer to snuggle up on the couch and sip chocolate when it's snowing outside - if only the snow turned to sand when it hit the ground. But, when it comes to having the opportunity to get outdoors with my camera for an engagement session with an awesome couple, I lace up my Dr. martens and put on two pairs of pants - not kidding!

Stacy and Steven on the other hand, LOVE the outdoors. Steven arrived to the session on his ski-doo! An engagement session is the perfect time to document a couples love for each other, but also things they love together. So, for Stacy and Steven's engagement session, we headed off into the woods (Steven on ski-doo) and had a little fun (knee deep) in the snow. What a FUN morning!

ENGAGEMENT // NATASHA + ANDREW

Saturday, June 21, 2014

There are many things I love about my job. Many. I'm a lucky girl. But, there's one thing that fills my heart with so much joy. It's one thing to think or feel that you did a good job on a recent session or wedding, but having those clients return for another session or refer you to their family and friends signifies it. I've had many wedding clients refer me to their siblings and go on to photograph their wedding. I LOVE that! I love returning to see that same family reunite for another joyous occasion.

I met Natasha at her sisters wedding (Nichole+Aaron) in August 2011. Natasha contacted me the moment she and Andrew got engaged last summer and booked her wedding date. Love that!

I am thrilled to be documenting Natasha + Andrew's wedding in August. I simply can't wait. On Wednesday we met for their engagement session at Sanger Park. It was a perfect evening for just that. These two are so sweet together. I can not wait to see Natasha glowing in wedding gown and see the look on Andrew's face as he watches his Bride walk down the aisle. Oh yes, wedding season is here : )

ENGAGEMENT SESSION // KRISTEN + TYRONE

Friday, October 4, 2013

We played email tag for a few weeks before the stars aligned and we hit on a date that worked for all of us. Earlier this week, on a beautiful, bright sunny afternoon, I drove to Lewisporte to meet Kristen + Tyrone for an engagement session.

We met in Lewisporte and drove the short distance to Birchy Bay. The location they chose for their e-session was fab-u-lous! With no clouds in sight and little open-shade, we had to choose our shooting areas carefully to avoid hot spot and dark shadows, but the long grass, fall foliage and red berries offered the perfect backdrop. I have to say, between the swarms of flies and melting sun, Kristen and Tyrone rocked their e-session and I couldn't be happier with the images we captured!

Kristen + Tyrone attended two weddings I shot this summer and decided to hire me for their wedding in Lewisporte next summer. They're tying-the-knot on August 23rd and I'm already looking foward to shooting their nuptials!

Rosco was proud to announce his parents are getting married!!
