SOPHIE | {newborn} | june 2012

Thursday, June 14, 2012

It's been a pretty hectic two months and wedding season isn't even in full-swing yet. Based on the year so far, it's going to be a busy one. I'm taking a break from editing to showcase baby Sophie. I feel so honored to photograph this little beauty. Her newborn session makes the fourth memorable event I have documented for the Noseworthy family. I love it!

Baby Sophie's newborn session completes the Belly 2 Baby Package for Aaron and Nichole. You can see their maternity images here.

Sophie was a pleasure to photograph. She was content while awake and dreamy when she fell asleep. Absolutely gorgeous!

MARY-JANE | {first photoshoot} newborn session

Friday, December 16, 2011

She's here! Deidre and Gary's little girl arrived on December 1st. Meet Mary-Jane.

EMMIE FAITH MARIE | {newborn} session

Wednesday, November 9, 2011

I'm so pleased to feature little Miss Emmie on the blog. What a beautiful baby girl!

I think this little princess was born to be a model. Emmie was wide awake for the entire session and still allowed us to move her, pose her, and dress her up. She didn't seem to mind one bit.

Besides two very proud parents, Emmie has three older brothers to watch out for her. What a lucky little girl!

BABY ABIGAIL | {newborn + family} photography

Wednesday, June 8, 2011

My portrait session with little Abigail and her proud parents, Vanessa + Matt was a little spare of the moment. The new parents weren't going to have newborn photos taken until Matt got called away for work and will be away for six long months. I'm so glad they decided to come into the studio. Babies change so quickly in the first few months, so it's nice to capture their "newness."

I really enjoyed the time I spent with them. Vanessa and I grew up in Grand Falls-Windsor and attended many of the same high school parties, so it was nice to catch up and meet her handsome husband. I hope I'm allowed to say that *blush*.

As Ellen DeGeneres says "A-ny-way..." here is Abigail (just 16 days new) with her Mom + Dad.

THE BEAUTIFUL DARIA | {newborn} session

Sunday, May 15, 2011

I had a little visitor last week...

Meet Daria. Unique name huh? Little Daria got her name from a Cake song of the same title. Her parents are big Cake fans and when they heard the song, they decided they would name their daughter Daria. Not only is it a beautiful name, that's a pretty cool story to tell little Daria when she grows up.

Daria was fabulous throughout the whole session in the studio. We managed to capture many images. Take a look.

Many new parents that come into the studio are concerned about the flaky skin on a newborn. I love it. To me, it signifies the "newness."

BABY REBECCA | {newborn} session

Tuesday, May 3, 2011

Friday was an exciting and monumental day in many ways. The big news around the world of course, was The Royal Wedding - an ordinary girl marrying her Prince. I started my day by watching highlights from the highly televised wedding and finished my day in the studio with a princess close to my heart.

Baby Rebecca's arrival makes me feel like an Aunt for the fourth time. Niece number two! Her proud parents, Dave and Krista, are close friends of ours. We have watched them anxiously await the arrival of their little girl and we couldn't have been happier to share the experience.

Rebecca is absolutely perfect. It makes me smile to think of watching her grow up.

PRINCE BENJAMIN IS HERE | {newborn} session

Sunday, March 20, 2011

Well...as anticipated a Prince has joined our circle. Melanie and Quinton welcomed a baby boy on March 1st. To every ones surprise, he arrived five days early. Looking back at Melanie and Quinton's maternity session in January, its hard to believe Baby Benjamin is finally here! Oh, and he's a real cutie. Take a look!

Stay tuned for the arrival of Princess Rebecca. Any day now.

Ten little fingers. Ten little toes. Peek-a-boo eyes and a button nose. I saw this poem the other day and thought it was adorable.

Sweet Baby {Benjamin} | Newborn Portrait Photography

Sunday, December 19, 2010

I've been a tad bit neglectful of this here my blog lately. Its been a hectic couple of weeks. After numerous sessions, I've been busy working to get images ready for clients before Christmas. I'm pleased to report, I was successful. Now, its time to try and catch up on blog posts...

I'd like to introduce sweet baby Benjamin. At the time of our portrait session, Benjamin was just eleven days old. He arrived approximately two weeks early. Oh my...he was so tiny. I had to move in real close just to capture his tiny toes. Congratulations to Karen and John on their gorgeous bundle of joy.

Baby Emma {Was I this cute?} | Newfoundland Newborn Photography

Sunday, October 31, 2010

At just 12 days new, baby Emma was a pleasure to photograph. She is indescribably beautiful...so tiny...so delicate...so perfect. My mum said it best..."so dainty."

Not only is it heartwarming to me to share the same name as baby Emma, but it was an absolute privilege to be the first to photograph her. The little lady wasn't too fussy about being naked {something else we have in common...but for totally different reasons lol}. But, the soothing sound of her mum and dad's voice and gentle touch, put her at ease. I can't explain how amazing it is, to see the bright eyes of a newborn through my lens.
