GANDER WEDDING // MELISSA + DEVIN

It was a rainy day wedding affair for Melissa and Devin.

 

As the rain clouds gathered over head, their family and friends poured into the beautiful St. Martin's Anglican Cathedral in Gander on Saturday. As the rain fell outside, they settled-in to witness the love and committment of two people they dearly loved. No matter how many prayers were said, it rained. And, it rained. All day.

 

Depsite the weather, Melissa and Devin remained calm and enjoyed their special day surrounded by the people they love. They laughed, shed tears of joy and embraced every perfect moment.

 

Rain on your weding day may seem like a downer, but it can also produce some of the most vibrant and interesting images. It's kinda like glitter. It makes a mess...but after it has fallen, everything shines. The light after a rain shower is gorgeous and the vibrant colors of the season come to life.

 

Every Bride dreams of sunshine on her wedding day, but the weather is the one detail you can not control. When rainstorms roll in, you have to roll with the punches, let your hair get a little wet and remember to enjoy the sparkle.
