ASHLEY + RYAN | {most inspiring bride}

Friday, August 12, 2011

Every Bride wants her wedding day to be unique. Every Bride dreams of the perfect, flawless wedding. If there is one thing I know for sure, no day is completely perfect. It may be too hot, too cold, pouring with rain or even snowing - we are in Newfoundland after all. When it comes to weddings, there are certain things you just can't control.

I had been informed prior to our pre-wedding consultation that Bride, Ashley had broken her leg just three weeks earlier. I have to admit, I really wasn't sure how the wedding day would go. There was bound to be obstacles. It can't be easy walking on one leg, let alone posing for photos!

Despite the unfortunate incident that caused Ashley to walk down the isle with a broken leg, Ashley and Ryan's wedding day was nothing short of perfect, in its own unique way! They exchanged vows on July 30th in Grand Falls-Windsor.

Despite the awkwardness of a broken leg, I never once - not a single time - heard this girl complain! Not once! About anything! She limped down the isles (without crutches), stood for as long as possible for photos (again, without crutches) and even enjoyed the first dance with her new husband and followed that by dancing with her father.

Ashley is an inspiration to all Brides - especially those pulling their hair out because the boutonnieres are the wrong shade of pink! She embodies what every Bride (and Groom) should do on their wedding day. . . put the uncontrollable flaws behind you and enjoy the very best day of your life to the absolute fullest!

Congratulations Ashley + Ryan . . .
